The program aims to develop new specializations in the field of hairdressing. By equipping hair professionals with advanced skills and knowledge, L’Oréal and its prestigious Academy are driving the transformation of the industry and paving the way for a new era of hairdressing expertise.
L’Oreal [Pros] Transformation is an innovative program that demonstrates L’Oréal’s commitment to empowering hairdressing professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their craft. Through the renowned L’Oréal Academy, this program sets a new standard for specialized education in the industry, equipping professionals with the expertise to thrive in a rapidly evolving beauty landscape.

Brandmark/ Altavia designed, supported, and produced all materials for one of the biggest projects in L’Oréal’s Professional Division. Our main task included the design of the logotype and all the communication materials (brochures, posters, banners, stage decoration, personal gifts, experts’ passports, badges, and certificates).

The 3 main goals of the program and how we approached them
Brandmark/ Altavia designed, supported, and produced all materials for one of the biggest projects in L’Oréal’s Professional Division. The 3 main goals of the program and how we approached them
We designed, produced, and delivered a booklet, that presented the big idea of the program and highlighted the most valuable information for each group. During their education, the participants also received a special passport in which they collected stickers.
During 21 days hairstyle experts were brought together on stage at a famous event venue to talk about hairdressing by professionals for professionals. The participants benefit from witnessing firsthand the future trends in hairdressing through demonstrations. Experts discussed the hairdressing profession, fashion, hairstyle, and hair lovers. And of course, all, around L’Oréal Professional Paris.
And then we transformed one of the biggest bars in Sofia to support the hairdressers through their education program. To make them feel appreciated and motivated, we produced more than 1000 engraved presents. At the end of their training, each hairdresser received a personalized certificate for completion.
The idea had to also be unified and easily replaceable materials that allowed us to change them during each of the events.

By going digital, we were able to achieve the big goal of sharing the learnings on individual hairdresser profiles on social media. One small sticker led to many possibilities.
Each hairdresser professional received a personally created business card with the QR code that led to their personal Instagram profile.

The event marked the graduation of over 250 hairstylists in the program and everyone who completed the program received their prestigious certificate of achievement in the three categories of Color Expert, Balayage Expert, and Style Expert. The same evening the prestigious ACADEMY AWARDS were also handed out. 15 statuettes were awarded to the 15 most talented hairdressers from each of the programs.
The ceremony was most emotional for the professionals from the Style Expert program. In addition to their graduation, they were given one more final project- Artist on Stage. In 4 groups, 4 shows on stage they had to present their talent, inspiration, and skills. Each entry was evaluated by a jury of some of the greatest artists, creators, and mentors in the profession. The evening was magical for the graduates, as for some this was their first spectacular moment.
